In a one-of-its-kind initiative, Al-Shifa Trust has recently unveiled Pakistan’s first ever mobile eye operation theatre units. These three mobile OT units will facilitate our community outreach team to perform cataract and other eyesight restoring surgeries in remote and underserved locations in Pakistan. These units are equipped with state-of-the-art surgical technologies including two OT tables and full pre-op set-up. Cutting-edge technology and equipment are utilised, providing remarkable eye care services to all our patients.
These units were generously donated by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited – OGDCL as a part of their CSR initiative, aiding us in furthering our mission to eradicate blindness from Pakistan.
