Al-Shifa Center for Community Ophthalmology (ACCO)

The Al-Shifa Center for Community Ophthalmology (ACCO) leads one of Pakistan’s most extensive outreach programs aimed at preventing blindness and providing quality eye care to rural and underserved communities. With the vision of “Reaching Out to the Unreached,” ACCO brings free eye care services directly to those who lack access to specialized treatment. Its programs include free school screening and surgical camps, as well as awareness and primary eye care sessions for students, teachers, and the general public.

Every initiative under ACCO is a step toward restoring not just eyesight, but dignity and hope. By delivering high-quality, no-cost eye care at the community’s doorstep, ACCO empowers individuals to reclaim their independence, education, and livelihood.
