Al-Shifa Institution of Eye Care (ASIEC) is a U.S.-based organization that supports the efforts of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital in Pakistan. Through global partnerships and donor engagement, ASIEC bridges compassion with impact, channelling resources to fund sight-saving surgeries, treatments, and community outreach programs.
Rooted in transparency and guided by empathy, ASIEC exists to connect individuals and institutions with a shared vision: a future where preventable blindness is no longer a barrier to opportunity or dignity.
At Al-Shifa Institution of Eye Care, all volunteers will play an instrumental role in bringing the highest quality of eye care to all our patients.
Al-Shifa Trust has been committed to eliminating blindness from Pakistan for the past 3 decades. Since 1991, it has been making relentless efforts to rescue millions of people immersed in the world of darkness.
With seven tertiary care eye hospitals and an exemplary community outreach program, Al-Shifa Trust has the prime vision to make quality eye care accessible to all. Every patient is treated with dignity and respect, thereby conferring the gift of sight upon over 32 million people without charging a single penny. Thousands of patient success stories are a testament to our efforts towards helping humanity, thereby allowing countless people to rewrite their life stories with renewed clarity and hope!
Individuals may register to contribute their time and skills to facilitate in networking, fundraising, awareness & community mobilisation on a pro-bono basis. This opportunity would help individuals nurture their professional careers while also playing a meaningful role in the lives of those who cannot afford essential eye care.
